My Mom, Babs Glass

This is a tribute to my Mom, who passed away yesterday at the age of 87. She was in her early 20's in this picture, taken in Brooklyn, NY where she grew up and lived a very varied and full life even after being stricken with polio in her early 30's. For the past 3 years she has lived with my daughter & family, Arlene, Bently & Jenna in South Florida and will be greatly missed in our day to day lives. Our vacations together took us to Disney World every year since Jenna was small. Mom went on every wheelchair accessable attraction there and among her favorites were It's A Small World and The Kilimanjaro Safari ride in The Animal Kingdom. We are all going to miss you, Nana.

I just wanted to give you my condolences. I lost my father when he was 84 years old. It was 10 years ago. It happened right before my 25th birthday. It was very hard at first. But with time and prayer I did get past it. My prayers are with you.
