My afternoon of knitting at Knitch was wonderful, meeting several new people & finally being able to browse around in this wonderful yarn shop. Claudia was nice enough to show me how to do a short row toe on these toe-up socks and it took all afternoon for me to "get it". When I got home I immediately started another sock using that same technique just so I wouldn't "lose it". The top one is the one that took me all day to do. The bottom one in the photo is the one I did "all by myself". THANK YOU CLAUDIA!

I met Melissa today and saw all of the adorable stitch markers she makes, all done individually by hand. I also got this great take along bag for small projects (like SOCKS). I love the size, the fabric & the color so home it went.

It was so nice to meet you yesterday. Sorry Jen & I were being so anti-social in the corner with our wheels. I promise we'll be better next time :)

You're very welcome - you are a very good student! :-) Keep the socks coming!
